Elias Murr appointed head of INTERPOL Foundation for a Safer World
     
Former deputy Prime Minister and ex-Minister Elias Murr was appointed on Tuesday the head of the INTERPOL Foundation for a Safer World for a seven-year term. 

Ex-Minister Murr was unanimously appointed by INTERPOL's Executive Committee prior to the organization's 82nd General Assembly held in Colombia.        

The INTERPOL Foundation for a Safer World provides a platform for public-private-sector collaboration in making a significant contribution to law enforcement and crime prevention on the local, national and international levels.             

The 82nd INTERPOL General Assembly, which opened in Colombia on Monday, is highlighting the need to take new measures and strategies in order to enhance law enforcement amid global crime hazards.
